MipFly OneX – The One, Evolved

The OneX refines everything that made the MipFly One a trusted companion: a sharper reflective display, a lighter and more refined body, and a more efficient processor — on top of the same software you already know.

High-Resolution Reflective Display

A 4.2" reflective LCD at 300x400 delivers noticeably sharper maps and more readable data fields than the MipFly One, with the same excellent sunlight readability and no backlight to drain the battery.

Efficient Processing

Powered by a dual-core Allwinner T113-S3 Cortex-A7 running at 1.2 GHz, paired with an ESP32-S2 coprocessor for real-time sensor data processing. Smoother map rendering and a snappier interface, while drawing less power than the MipFly One.

Lighter, Refined Design

At 171 g the OneX is more than 30% lighter than the MipFly One, in a redesigned body that gives up none of the ruggedness or the glove-friendly physical buttons pilots rely on.

Advanced Sensor Suite

Features a high-precision Bosch pressure sensor, a 3-axis accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer, delivering responsive and accurate vario readings with real-time sensor fusion.

High-Sensitivity GPS

Utilizes the Ublox M10M GPS receiver, supporting concurrent reception of multiple GNSS systems (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou) for fast, precise positioning.

Extensive Battery Life

A 5000 mAh lithium-ion battery delivers more than 20 hours of continuous operation — longer than the MipFly One from a smaller, lighter cell, thanks to the more efficient processor and reflective display.

Customizable Audio Alerts

Offers fully configurable vario sounds, including frequency, tone, and interval settings, with options for square or sine wave outputs to suit pilot preferences.

Comprehensive Navigation Tools

Includes detailed maps, airspace alerts, wind direction and speed indicators, thermal assistance, and task navigation features for cross-country flights.

Connectivity Options

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are both built in through an internal module — no upgrade required — for data synchronization, firmware updates and live tracking.

General Interface Features

The OneX runs VarioQt, the same software as the MipFly One — so everything you already know carries over, and both instruments keep improving with the same updates.

Customizable Interface

User definable pages with configurable graphical elements (size, position, zoom level etc.)

Multi-lingual

Multi-lingual interface to support pilots from around the world

Audio Alerts

Customizable audio alerts to keep you informed during flight

Display Options

Black on white or white on black user interface to adapt to different lighting conditions

Memory Features

  • 3D flight logger IGC format
  • Practically more memory for flights than anyone can use in a lifetime

Task Navigation

  • Intuitive and easy to use task interface
  • Task optimisation and waypoint data aproximation algorithm
  • Waypoint navigation for freeflight
  • Easy waypoint importing in GPSDump format

Variometer/Altimeter Features

High-precision sensors for accurate readings in all conditions.

  • High precision Bosch pressure sensor for accurate readings and a high rate of response to vertical speed
  • Selectable instant vario function using accelerometer
  • Configurable vario digital filter and integration values for analog and digital (average) vario
  • Fully configurable Vario Sound (frequency, increments, frequency/vertical speed relation,...)
  • Square wave or sine wave tone
  • Multiple independent altimeters (QNH, GPS, AGL, difference from takeoff etc.)
  • Worldwide altitude data for AGL calculation

Maps & 3D Airspace

Comprehensive mapping system to keep you aware of your surroundings.

  • Detailed maps representing woods, settlements + names and water surfaces for better orientation
  • Two levels of zoom for graphical maps
  • Compatible with Open Air format (copy required airspace to SD and select it from the menu)
  • Graphical representation of the airspace map and name of violated airspace
  • Configurable warning distances for vertical and horizontal airspace distance
  • List containing near and violated airspaces (AGL defined airspaces are considered violated based only on horizontal positioning)

Download additional maps for your region from our downloads section.

Cross Country Features

Advanced tools to help you maximize your cross country performance.

  • Extremely precise and prompt wind algorithm (no spiraling required)
  • Intuitive and large wind direction indication
  • Distance and direction to last thermal
  • Intuitive thermal graph for centering aid
  • Distance and angle from takeoff
  • Glide ratio indicator

Horizontal Layout

Upright or on its side — the OneX was designed for both orientations from the start.

  • Every key carries two sets of markings, turned 90° from each other, so the symbols stay meaningful whichever way round the instrument is mounted
  • Rotated horizontally, the four keys fall naturally along the side of the display, still within thumb reach
  • Changing orientation is simply a matter of selecting a UI layout built for it — the layout defines the orientation
  • Pages stay fully user definable either way, with the same configurable graphical elements, so you keep the data you care about wherever it suits you
  • Mount the instrument to suit your harness, cockpit or risers instead of working around a fixed orientation
